Driving time is approximately 90 minutes from the Twin Cities.
This is a very scenic route, yet I find it just as fast as 35 North to Highway 8 to Taylors Falls.
35 North to Highway 36 East, 5 miles past 694 to Manning Road-Highway 15 (sign marked "North of Stillwater")
Follow to Hwy 96 (about 5 miles).
Turn right (east), to to end at Highway 95.
Turn left (north) (about 20 miles) to end at Highway 8.
Turn right (east) on 8 to Taylors Falls and follow Highway 8, cross bridge over St. Croix River into Wisconsin.
Take first left (Highway 87) through town of St Croix Falls.
Continue north on 87 for 20 miles.
You will pass the town of Cushing.
One mile past Burnett County line you will cross the Trade River.
Take a left on Erickson Road (directly across from County Road Z) to dead end on East River Road. Turn left, 100 yards to Oeltjen Road.
Take a right on Oeltjen and go 1/4 mile to driveway 13911.
Take a left into the driveway at 13911 Oeltjen Road, and ... there you are, Welcome!!!
Please park your car in the parking area on the left end of the driveway.
